Munich (Germany), 15 May 2019. The Schaltbau Group plans to refinance a major part of its financing, which expires at the end of the year, by means of a new syndicated loan. For this purpose, Schaltbau has now appointed Commerzbank AG and UniCredit Bank AG to arrange a syndicated credit agreement for at least EUR 100 million.

Preparations for the new syndicated credit agreement have been underway for some time and the appointment of the two banks indicates the beginning of the final phase. Other banks have already signalised their readiness to participate in the new credit arrangements.

The syndicated credit agreement is to form the main element of the upcoming refinancing and will be supplemented by further components, particularly a programme to securitise receivables, for which a contractual basis has already been established.
