Our business activities are based on responsibility, trust, reliability and innovation. Our activities are aimed at continuously improving the competitiveness of Schaltbau Group in strict compliance with internationally recognised ethical and legal principles, taking market requirements into account. The driving force behind our activities are the interests of our employees and shareholders, our business partners and society.
In accordance with the requirements of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Directive Implementation Act (CSR-RUG), which came into force in 2017, the Schaltbau Group is required to publish non-financial information on environmental, social and employee issues, the fight against corruption and bribery, and respect for human rights. The non-financial Group report is part of this CSR reporting, which the Schaltbau Group bases on the German Sustainability Code (DNK).
Schaltbau Holding AG and its subsidiaries (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Schaltbau Group”) are convinced that sustainable business principles can only be practised by adopting ethical and fair conduct. For this reason, the Schaltbau Group assumes particular responsibility for respecting and upholding internationally recognised human rights and environmental protection standards within its own sphere of business as well as appropriate management within its supply chains.
Schaltbau Holding AG is aware that the implementation of human rights and environmental due diligence obligations under the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (hereinafter referred to as “LkSG”) in its own business activities as well as in supply and value chains is an ongoing process. The Schaltbau Group accepts this challenge and regularly reviews the strategic approaches and measures of its business activities with the aim of continuous improvement. With regard to human rights and environmental issues, the Schaltbau Group is guided by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations Global Compact.
